SPARC is the
San Gorgonio Pass Amateur Radio Club

The San Gorgonio Pass Amateur Radio Club is dedicated to the interests of radio communications and emergency preparedness, and provides a wide variety of volunteer services to its members and the community.  Our Club call sign is W6PRC (“Pass Radio Club”).  We are located in Banning CA, and our members represent a wide area ranging from Perris, Moreno Valley, Yucaipa, Calimesa, Beaumont, Banning, Cabazon, and the Low Desert.

Monthly Club Meetings:

Visitors and new members are always welcome at our meetings. 

Meetings are held at at the Saint Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church, Classroom 4, in Beaumont at 7:00 PM. Here
We meet on the 4th Thursday of each month, January through October.
The November meeting is held on the 3rd Thursday to avoid a holiday.
The December meeting is the annual Christmas Party.

The SPARC Board meets 4 times a year at dates and times to be announced.

2nd Saturday of each month, 8:00 a.m.

Club Logo Shirshirt-1ts and Hats

Club shirts and hats are available to Members. The Hats are about $11. The shirts are $30 and include your first name, and call sign. Both the hats and the shirts have the club logo.

Field Day

ARRL Field Day is held during the fourth full weekend in June each year.  Saturday afternoon of that weekend is open to visitors from 11:00 until 16:00 (11AM until 4 PM) local time. We will be monitoring the Banning 2 meter Repeater:

147.915Mhz down 600, pl 123. AKA Mt. Edna

The Club also holds an informal “Mini-Field Day” event each spring, usually in March.  Members set up their stations to test equipment and experiment prior to the June Field Day event.  See the Event Calendar for dates.
